Connor was baptised on Sunday, he was so good! He was quite through most of the ceremony. At the end he was so very tired, and fell asleep in the arms of the priest, Father Isadore, it was beautiful. We were blessed that family and friends could be there to Witness such a blessing!
After the ceremony we went out to the pool and celebrated with family and friends, we grilled and played boccie ball! Connor had a blast! Jared and I feel so blessed to have Connor in our lives, he is truly a blessing from above and we know that we are beyond lucky to have family and friends that love Connor so much! Thank you God for such a blessing!

Congrats Jared!!!

Jared finally did it, he finished the program! We are all so proud of you and all of your accomplishments! Jared started the program 2 years ago, he is now finished and off to the business world! The MBA program was a lot of fun, we met new people and discovered parts of Austin that we never knew existed! We are going to miss all of our friends, but we know that we will stay in touch...we wish you all the best! Jared has interviews both today and tomorrow, we will know something soon! I admire Jared for all of his hard work, long hours that he poured into the program, and dedication! I knew that you would do a great job!

We're moving....in many ways!

Well our time is up and it is now time to pack up and move on! MOVE ON!!! MOVE ON WHERE!?! LOL Who knows!!??!! Jared has an interview in Dallas and in San Antonio not to mention the job in Houston! We have to be out of our apartment at the end of the month because it's already leased to new tenets, so we are packing everything up! Connor is doing such a great job at helping us...







However Connor is moving in more ways that just one! He has discovered that he is officially mobile and he loves it!!! Here is a short video of him "inching"





Connor is also moving up with solids! He had his six month check up the other day, the doctor gave us permission to start smashed solids....YUMMMM!!!!





Jared is moving on up in the world as well, he will be graduating tomorrow and entering the real world! Like I said he has a couple of interviews next week so please everyone cross your fingers!!! I am so proud of Jared and of all the MBA grads! You guys all did an amazing job, all of the late night studying, group projects, and finals you guys deserve a standing ovation!! I must say I will miss the group meetings here at the apartment! Mike, Steve, Abid ...maybe you guys should meet one more time just for the heck of it!
I will miss all of my girl friends that are moving, I wish you all the best of luck in your new journeys!
Also....Congrats to a great friend of mine, I am so happy for you! :)

Just Amazing!!

WOW....
Connor gave us a big surprise today!
He was laying on the floor just cooing away when .....
I looked over and there he was sitting up! He has done it four times this afternoon, so I know it wasn't a only one time kind of thing! The first time that he did it he fell over immediately and stared crying! (I think that it scared him!) But since then he sits up and just enjoys sitting there! I can't believe it!!!
I know I know he is just the smartest little boy in the world! ;)

Graduation is near!!!

Jared is almost done with the program, he graduates next week! I must say he has worked very hard and has put in many long nights to get to where he is now, I am so proud of him and all that he has accomplished! Jared decided to start the MBA program at UT over 2 years ago, during that time a lot has changed! Jared has become more knowledgeable not only from what he has learned at UT but with what he has learned about his self. He has done a lot of soul searching over the last 2 years and has come to the realization that it is time to do what makes him happy in life! During that two years we have started our own little family and are happier than ever! God has blessed us in every way. I know that God has a direction for our family and that he will create a path for us that Jared will enjoy. So hats off to Jared and to all of the other MBA grads out there, you guys worked so hard for so long and now it is time to take a bow!
With that being said, we are packing up this month and moving out of our apartment! Where we will be going will be a suprise, yes to us as well! LOL

Here is a Connor update....
I posted some pictures of Connor that I have taken over the past week, some of them he is playing dress up in his monkey costume! He will be 6 months on the 17th, it's so hard to believe!
His teeth are coming in and I have discovered to keep my fingers, nose, and any other body part away from his mouth! (those little things are sharp!) He is so aware now, it's amazing how much he is taking in! He is now sleeping through the night, for the most part.... he has been doing the cutest little curl in a ball thing while he sleeps...it's really quite cute!


He has learned to pull on mine and Jared's heart strings, I don't think that there is anything that that little boy ever wants that he doesn't get! I have become more attached to him than I though possible, when I leave the house I can't wait to get back home just to see and hold him! It's just amazing the love that you feel for your child.
