1st day of school!!

Well Connor had his first day of school, well day care! He really enjoyed playing with all of the kids and all of the new toys! The teacher said that he didn't even cry one single time! Not only that but my little monkey ate TWO lunches, that's right two!

And seems as though our little man needs a lesson in sharing!

Just the girls! (lets back it up a couple of weeks!)

My mom, my sister, and I went to Memphis to visit my uncle, we had a blast! We went to Graceland for my sister to see the love of her life! It is amazing to see the amount of people that are head over heels in love with Elvis and as for Elvis memorabilia you name it they have it! We also went and tested our luck at the Casino my sister won $300, and I WON...nothing, I lost my money playing black jack but it was still a ton of fun!At the Casino we had the privilege of eating at Paula Deen's restaurant!!! Let me tell you it was Delicious!!!!! Yes it was fried, buttered, and packed with fat....but it was still finger licken good! My uncle's have the hook up at the Kirkland's warehouse, so we went shopping and got beautiful home decor at a fraction of the price! Our trip was a lot of fun, just the three of us hanging out acting goofy, and enjoying each others company!
I will say though, I did miss my guys! Connor went and spent some time at his Pop and Gigi's house, they had a blast!!! Jared joined them on Friday, he told me that Connor had a blast and that he got away with EVERYTHING!
Also Connor got a new car seat! His old one was becoming a bit small, his little legs were cramped and his head was touching the top of the seat! His new car seat is forward facing but Connor will not experience that luxury until he is one year of age, their little spines are not prepared for forward facing car crashes until one year of age! Even still Connor enjoys his new seat and roomy space!

Look at him... it's just a matter of time before he can walk on his own!

These are the adorable little sounds out of my son's mouth lately! I chose to believe that he is actually saying mom...which he is...but I chose to believe that he can associate the word with me! Jared thinks that he is just saying mom to get what he wants, because he knows that when I pick him up or if he wants something I say "you want mom?" or "mom will get it"
So here is the picture...
I put Connor down...Connor crawls toward me crying and then says "mom" .... what do you think? Coincidence or actual association?


On another note...
Connor and his dad have been playing so hard lately!


In the evenings Jared relaxes by strumming his guitar for a while, well Connor is his dad's biggest fan! He will just sit there and listen to his dad play, eventually Jared picks him up and Connor helps his dad serenade me! It really is the cutest thing you've ever seen!












We have pretty much set our self on a schedule with little conman, in the evening we eat, bathe, play HARD, then go to bed! Well Jared and Connor have the playing part down! Here is a cute little video of Connor playing with his dad - notice that Connor crawls and teases his dad...it is so cute!
