Here is a video of Connor tonight, it was 9:00 and all he wanted to do is play, play, play!!!! We had put him to bed like always at 8:00ish he screamed for 1/2 an hour before we caved. You can see what happened next....

It was fun it was hot it was cold it was CRAZY! :)

Some good friends of ours Mike and Nicole came in for the weekend. We decided that we would go tubing down the Guadalupe so we put on our suits, packed the cooler, lathered on the sun block, and settled in for a nice 4 hour ride down the cool river in the nice hot sun. Doesn't that sound just amazing? It would have been, if at 3 hours in it wouldn't have started raining...oh wait when I say raining I don't just mean sprinkling ohh no I mean pouring down, cold wind, lighting, it was one crazy thunder storm!!!! Yeah, I know :( So we pulled our tubes over and sat there for 1/2an hour freezing....little did we know our pick up was about 100 feet down the stream LOL
It was fun it was hot it was cold it was CRAZY! :)
Later that night we walked the river and grabbed some yummy Mexican!
We love San Antonio and are looking forward to more crazy fun stories!
Jared loves his job! He says that he thinks that he will be there for a while! We are very excited that he is enjoying his job. We are moving in to our home on the 1st! We finally have a home, not an apartment but an actual house, it's going to be so great!!!!!!

We finally found a house!
We are just leasing for now but we found this gorgeous little house, it's like Hyde park in Austin or like Montrose in Houston, it's an older neighborhood with a ton of trees and a lot of really unique restaurants and coffee shops to walk to! The inside of the house is really really pretty it has wooden floors and white walls.... it's very cottage like. Here is a picture of the outside and a picture of the backyard, later I will post pictures of the inside! We are all very excited!!!!

Home

Jared is out in the real world now and as my girlfriend says wearing "big boy clothes" He started yesterday and is really enjoying it! I think that this is going to be a great fit for him! Here is a picture of him on his first day!

We are enjoying San Antonio, we took a stroll down town and got a feel for down town. It is a beautiful city it has a lot of the Austin feel, large trees, really unique neighborhoods, and a lot of cool hangouts and restaurants (that we haven't gotten a chance to check out!)
But all in all things are going well, we have been looking for a house and we have found a few that we like but we aren't sure what is going to happen! (House hunting is so exhausting!)
Connor is making the best of the situation and finding new toys...

It was such a beautiful evening that we decided to take Connor to the park, I think that he enjoyed most of it...(the swings not so much!) He is just so cute!!!!

San Antonio here we come!!!
Congratulations to Jared, he got a job!! He will be in charge of a category at his new job. We are very exhausted from house hunting! We have to be out of our apartment in a week and we haven't found a place to live! Lucky for us Jared's job will provide temporary housing for 2 months! This is going to be a great place to live there are so many things to do! I am so glad that God blessed us with a job that Jared is going to like and that is still close to family and friends!
For those who "need" their Connor update here it is....
He can officially army crawl anywhere he wants! He has figured out just how mobile he is, it's time to start baby proofing! He has also grown more teeth he is up to four and I have a strong feeling that number five isn't far behind! For those who have kids I have a question...
Connor does this thing with his teeth where he "grinds" them, is that normal or should I be stopping it?
He has also figured out what he wants mom for and what he wants dad for! He goes to mom for any kind of love and comfort and for sleep and he knows that dad is good for rough housing and any other kind of play!
Blogging may be far and few over the next couple of weeks between moving and finding a home to move to I am finding little time for anything else!
