yummy in my tummy!

This afternoon Jared and I picked up Connor and took him to the park- where he decided to flip out of the swing!!!!! When he sat up he looked at me and said "Lets go slide mommy!" after a quick look over we headed to the as Connor would say... "big boy slide cause I a big boy mommy"
After a nice evening at the park I took Connor to get some Amy's ice-cream! The ice-cream cone and scoop were the size of his head- but that didn't stop him from digging in! He explained to me that "the ice-cream store is my favorite, I like ice-cream, I like to lick it!" every other time that he licked the gigantic scoop of sugared deliciousness he would say "that yummy mommy, yummy in my tummy!"
When we were all done we headed over to Whole Earth Provisions and played with the toys for about 20 minutes, he insisted upon showing me every car they had within reaching distance!
All in all little boys had quite the exciting afternoon..... I wonder what we will do tomorrow! :)

Time with Yha - Yha

We went and spent a day in Gruene with my mom and my Aunt Delores- and her beautiful grand daughter! We had some delicious lunch, some amazing dessert, and some much needed family time! Connor really enjoyed getting to spend time with the baby - since then he keeps telling me "I like babies mommy- their my friend!" :) Mom and Delores here are a few pictures from the weekend! ~Enjoy!

Meeting Mr. Easter Bunny

Connor met the Easter bunny and was quite impressed! I thought that he would be terrified of a BIG GIANT BUNNY, but instead he welcomed him with open arms! For the entire week prior to seeing him Jared and I both explained to Connor that he would get to visit the Easter Bunny- we read Easter Bunny books, sang bunny songs, hopped around the house like bunnies, so when the time came Connor wanted to bring the Easter bunny a gift! We found a plastic egg and stuffed it with stickers and then drew a wonderful picture of Connor and the Easter bunny together! When we arrived the bunny was still in the back... eating his carrots... so we waited and waited and waited some more until the Easter bunny finally arrived! There he came strolling down the breeze way- that's when Connor looked at me very concerned hands up in the air and asked me "why he not hopping?" I had to explain to him that really big bunnies could walk! All in all our visit to our big furry friend went well! :)
