Connor turns 2!

Well it's true my little baby boy is now 2 years old!
We haven't had his birthday party yet, it's on Saturday, but here are some pictures from his actual birthday day!
Connor had a good time for his birthday he went to the park with his friend Evan, went to the bookstore (by request), went to HEB and got balloon and cake (again HEB was by request!), and then to McDonalds (By request-Fren Fries) When we got home he got to eat his cake and open his present! Connor was so excited when he opened his gift, he got a small portable Thomas train set- wow was it a hit! In fact he loved it soooo much that the next morning at 5:00 A.M. he got up to play with it! Thank God I have such an amazing husband- at 5:30 Jared got up and played "Tom-Bus" with Connor- while I got to "sleep" for 20 more minutes! I will post about is birthday after Saturday! In the meantime enjoy these pictures!

TrIcK or TrEaT

This year was Connor's first "real" Halloween, last year we didn't really do anything because he was so little. This year he some what understood what was going on, due to the fact that Jared and I hyped it up so much!
Today we carved a pumpkin for the very first time- Jared- and his assistant, did a pretty good job! Connor would not assist in taking the seeds out, he thought it was "yucky"!
When we first went trick or treating he was some what hesitant when going up to people's doors but after the second house he realized, wait a second- I get candy! He did really good! We went down our street with our neighbors and let Connor run around with the other kids, they really had a great time! When we were done we came back home and had pizza with the neighbors and their kids, they kids enjoyed running around and playing - more than they did trick or treating!
As you can see in the pictures Connor was a dog this year, in my opinion he was the cutest little dog I've ever seen! Jared taught him that when he went to a door and someone opened it he should say "Trick or Treat" but it really sounded more like "Tik Oh Teet" It was very very cute! At the end of the night Connor was very tired and very much ready for bed! All in all I would say that his first TiK Oh Teeting went very well!

Hope that you all had a spooktacular night! :)

And so it starts....

Connor is actually somewhat excited... His new daycare requires that we start, so ready or not .... here we go!!!!

Wine festival

Our good friend Ben came in for the weekend and we drove up to Fredericksberg and sampled some Texas wineries. Some were very good and others well, were not. All in all we had a great time! We had lunch at this fantastic little cheese shop, they had these amazing sandwiches that had imported cheese on them! (YUMMM) All in all we had a great time! Here are some pictures from the festival.

Connor and friends

Today we did some house cleaning and straightening up, I guess Connor saw me cleaning so much that he decided to clean too! He gathered his toys from the floor and stacked them on his bed! I thought that it was so cute that I had to take a picture. When I got done taking my picture I asked him "are you playing with your friends?" he told me "yea" I said "do you love your friends?" he responded with "a-do "I love you" friend mommy" and got up and hugged and kissed them! The picture was taken on my phone so it isn't that great, but you get the idea!

Lost Maples

Yesterday we headed out to Lost Maples State park, it's just outside San Antonio. If you've never been and you live some what close you should head out there, it is absolutely beautiful! The leaves were just beginning to change, it was really nice to see some kind of Autumn in texas! The hill country is just amazing, the hills, trees, meadows, and streams! Yesterday was the perfect day to head out there - the weather was just amazing, bright sunshine and crisp cool air!
Connor really enjoyed the park, he ran around playing with his mom and dad, he lead the way half the time! We also discovered that Connor's favorite activity is throwing rocks in the stream (I think that we did that for about 2 hours)! Connor also got the chance to climb on some small (or in his case BIG) rocks!
Connor really had a great time, he was very well behaved and didn't want to leave at all when it was time to go! I have a feeling that this little boy loves the outdoors just as much as his mom and dad, we can't wait to take him camping when he's older!
Here are some pictures of all the fun and the beautiful scenery!
