A weekend at Grandma and Pappa's

We went to my parent's house this weekend and spent some quality time! I think that Connor really enjoys playing in his little pool over there! He is growing up so quickly, he is "scooting" on furniture now! Below are a few pictures from the weekend and a cute little video! ~Enjoy~

My turn to shine!

I have big news ... well what I would consider big news, I got accepted at UT!!!
I am so excited that Iam finaly going to go to a university!
Through out my college experience I have had to go community colleges, I had to go some what part time to help Jared through the MBA program and now it is my turn to go full time! I am very excited about this new journey in my life and can not wait to learn about teaching! School starts next month, I am registered and ready to go!

mile stones in life

We went to Gruene this weekend with our buddies Mike and Nicole (which by the way are now engaged!!!!! so CONGRATS to them!!!) We had dinner and then went to this amazing concert, Bob Schnieder he was simply amazing!!!! I enjoyed every single song...I haven't danced like that years! (The next day my legs and hips reminded me how long ago it was that I danced like that!) This guy is from Austin and performs alot there, I was so disappointed to find that out later... He is really good!

Connor has developed such a personality lately it's amazing to see how quickly he's changing! He's getting to the point where he wants to feed himself yet can't quite figure it out. I let him feed himself these little puffy stars they dissolve pretty quickly in the mouth and they come in so many flavors, he loves them! He thinks he is such a big boy!

For those of you that have been to our house or old apartment you know how fun it was eating dinner at the coffee table, well I hate to break it to you but we now have ... an actual table and chairs... I know it's hard to believe that after being married for almost three years we finally have one! LOL ... Speaking of being married for almost three years, Jared and I have an anniversary coming up soon, July 24th. It's amazing how fast time has gone by and how much things have changed since we said "I do". I am constantly amazed at how blessed I am to have such a husband, my best friend. :)

a quick up date!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, we are trying to settle in to our new home. We are really enjoying our new home! We had a fun fourth of July, our parents came in and eenjoyed some great food and great company! Jared is enjoying his job, lastnight he said that he can see staying here for a long time. I am enjoying the summer and spending time with Connor, he is growing up so fast! Just the other day he climbed up on his bookshelf..... so I am researching child proofing!!! LOL Connor is all over the place, he can crawl from room to room he crawls to his room and plays with his toys every morning for about 15 min.
Lately when I tell him "Connor say cheese!" He smiles and shows his teeth, it's so cute!
