Woof Woof, every where!

It is Fiesta in San Antonio right now, they have festivals every where and little parades all over the place! Right at the end of our street they had what is called a "Pooch parade". It is seriously about 100 dogs, some purple-pink-blue, some in costume, some in decorated wagons.... it was quite the sight! Connor loves dogs- so this was perfect! At first he was a bit apprehensive but he soon realized that he could get up and pet them, it was a great time for my little dog lover!
(Who knows maybe we can participate in the "pooch parade" next year, maybe Connor will have a dog? What do you think Aunt Nicky... a little ROXY for Connor?) LOL

It's not a good-Bye, It's a See you later :(

I guess it was bound to happen, eventually we all go our separate ways. Unfortunately our very good friends Mike and Nicole had to leave. Fair well Austin-hello Denver! A couple of weeks ago we spent our last weekend for a long time in Austin with our best friends, we created some great memories and had many laughs and tears that night! We already miss our dear friends a lot, yet we are very happy for their new journey in life! Mike and Nicole- Congratulations on your new home- we hope that it's everything you hoped it would be, we can't wait to see you guys in June!

Our new tats...for the night! BFF

Weeeeee? Weeeee!!!!!

So we have one of those toddler swings, originally it was in the back yard- but my darling husband thought that it would be a better idea if we moved it up front. Ever since then we can not pass it with out either pushing Connor in it or hearing him say Weee, Weee, non stop! It really is cute! He can stay in the weee "swing" forever, in-fact when you ask him if he is done he will tell you "no no, weeeee" :)
Yesterday, I was very busy writing a paper for school, & Jared was outside working on his Jeep.... where was Connor? Connor was watching The Backyardagins and eating a snack. When he was done watching his favorite "pablo"he got up and was playing with his toys. I would get up every so often and check on him to make sure that he wasn't doing or into anything that he wasn't supposed to. He was having a good time in his toy box- being very loud and laughing .... then all of a sudden it was very very quite. I thought hummmm, this can't be good, so I got up and to my surprise this is what I saw...

So yeah lesson learned Never leave a 1 1/2 year old alone, thank God for child proof cabinets! LOL
*note* the cabinets that he got into are just plastic cups, pots and pans, and bread, potatoes, and that kind of stuff!

Lions, Tigers, and Bears....

Here are some pictures of Connor at the San Antonio Zoo! He had a great time, he saw all sorts of new animals. He was fortunate enough to see a Grizzly Bear sit up and pose for the camera, hear a lion ROAR, and to see some fishes up close and personal! They even had an inside toddler section where the kids could pretend to fish in a pond- he loved fishing and was very upset when he couldn't keep his "catch"! We let him go wherever he wanted and see what he wanted as many times as he wanted to! The zoo even had a petting area with little billy goats, although he pet them he wasn't too sure about them! Later on our way out we stopped by an area with a bigger goat. Connor was in his stroller eating a snack- apparently the goat thought that it looked good and came in for a better look, apparently Connor doesn't like goats that want to eat his food! All in all the trip to the Zoo was a success, we will most definitely be going back!

God has blessed us well...

I hope that everyone had a good easter! Connor had a great Easter, he went on three separate Easter egg hunts! At first he was a bit unsure of what to do... but once he figured it out he was a competitive Easter egg hunter! He got a nice Easter basket from the Easter bunny, it had a farm puzzle, bubbles, snacks, some candy, and three backyardagins DVDs!!! Here are some pictures of my sweet baby boy from Easter ....

Pab-O

So not that I want my son watching hours of TV a day but sometimes when you need to do your make up, fix your hair, and get ready for the day.... a short television show is kind of nice! We figured out months ago that Connor Loves the Backyardigans, but just recently he is really enjoying them -he will sit on the couch with the fuzzy blanket and his big brown and white dog and watch an entire episode. His favorite character seems to be Pablo, the blue penguin - in fact he even has a stuffed toy version of Pablo that he calls Pab-o. :) The show is really cute, it's about a bunch of cute little animals that are best-friends and all live side by side - they share a large back yard (hence the backyardigans) they have great imaginations and travel all over the place! (it's actually a pretty good learning cartoon). Who knows how long this obsession will last ... but right now it's really cute!
I would post pictures of him snuggled up on the couch with this LARGE brown fuzzy blanket, snuggled up to his dog-dog but my camera is broken...so for now you will just have to imagine it your self!
