So many changes....

Here is a big change for a little boy....

Those are no other than Connor's first little toofers!!
That's right thats toofer(s) it seems as though he has two teeth growing in at once!
He's a bit fussy but it isn't anything that a little love from mom and dad can't fix!
I can't believe how much he's growing up!!!

Another big change on the way....

School is coming to an end for Jared and it will soon be time to join the workin world! With that being said, he has an interview with Amazon next week for a posistion that he is very interested in! Lets all cross our fingers that things go well!

Play time!!!

Here is a video that I thought you guys would enjoy, it's Connor "inching" to get his toys! (please excuse the spit up... lol) I also attached a few pictures of him playing this morning, he is in such a great mood! (lets hope that he stays this way all day!)

Almost six months...

Look how big he's getting! He can almost sit up by himself, we have to put him in the sitting position and then he can stay that way for a while ... but then he hunches over like an old man!
He has also discovered that he is like a fish and can flip over in the bath tub! (YIKES)

I just can't believe that he is almost six onths old! He is growing up so fast; today he drank apple juice out of a sippy cup! It's so funny how much his personality is changing! He has gotten to the point where he will look at you and just grin from ear to ear for no reason at all! He has discovered (somewhat) that he can entertain himself, after waking up he has figured out that he can do more than just cry...he can have fun! For the past few days he has been just lying there playing with his music turtle or playing with his feet! He is just so cute!

How rude!!!

I guess I need to start disciplining him!!!

A weekend with the Grandparents!

Connor had a long fun weekend with his grandparents! Gigi and Pop came in for the weekend and spent some time with their little pontuf! It was such a nice weekend that we decided on Saturday to relax out by the water so we went to this great little restaurant/hangout in Austin called Carlos and Charlies it was nice! We just relaxed by the water and ate some Delicious food! Pop discovered how to make his little pontuf laugh, after a few silly faces and some very strange noises Pop had Connor laughing it up! When Gigi and Pop headed home we headed over to my parents house, where there was just as much Connor attention, my parents had about 35 lbs of Craw fish and some shrimp......so we had a craw fish boil! (Yes it was Delicious!!!!) I believe that Connor has figured out that he has Grandma and Papa wrapped around his little finger....the slightest cry and Papa is taking Connor "bear hunting" (for a walk through the back yard, which is covered with trees!) needless to say between both sets of Grand Parents this little boy doesn't stand a chance of not being spoiled rotten!!!! Gig and Pop Connor says that he misses you and can't wait to see you soon! And Grandma and Papa get ready for a party ......

Here are a couple of videos and a few pictures of Connor eating! They are so cute! There is one video where he hates his food then one where he loves it! (so much so that he helps me feed him!) Although he is a little messy or artistic.... he has actually gotten quite good at it! :)

Lets catch up!

First let me say...it is not my fault that I have not updated the blog in the past couple of weeks, the blog website wasn't letting me! Now I can update and add pictures...it wont videos just yet!
But I did add some pictures from Easter so that you guys can see Connor and his first Easter basket!
On another note, Connor has now mastered his technique when rolling over, he tucks his head, pulls in his arm, and rolls over! There is no more forcing him to participate in tummy time....is that good or bad? I think that he is trying to do the whole inch worm thing but hasn't quite figured it out just yet! I think that he will be crawling in the next month or so! (How exciting/scary!) To go along with his quick skills in rolling over he has also figured out how to talk back, well not in the way that will get him grounded....not yet anyway! Our little guy is a babbling machine! Connor has also discovered what food taste like, he has tried peaches, apple sauce, carrots, turkey and rice, sweet potatoes and his least favorite corn! He knows to open his mouth for the spoon and to keep most of the food in his mouth! He is getting cuter and cuter by the day!
Jared and I had a fun weekend! Connor went to Grandma and PaPa's Saturday night and stayed until Sunday evening. Tay, Jared's little brother, came into town and they went rock climbing (looking at the blisters and listening to their plans to go again makes me believe that they enjoyed themselves!) I hung out with my mom and sister Saturday day, we grabbed lunch then I got my hair done! I put blond and bright red highlights through out my hair, it's a bit dramatic but very cute! This weekend was my get in touch with my inner self weekend haha....I made a few changes that I felt that I really needed! (I feel so rejuvenated!) We also hung out with some great friends over the weekend, Nicole and Mike. We headed out to their place on Saturday night and had some BBQ and played poker (Nicole is really a poker pro, she kicked our butts :(!) It was a great time though!
The weekend before Jared and I went out with some of our other friends Dave and Holly (also our neighbors!) We went to this Seafood restaurant and enjoyed some good ole' boiled craw fish! (YUMMY!) it was quite the experience! (It was my first time ever having BOILED craw fish, and I must say they were quite delicious!)
Speaking of Nicole I have a meeting with her today, we are putting our thoughts together and are possibly going to start our own business, baby related products....
It will be interesting to see what we come up with and how far we take it!
We turned in our notice about a week ago, which means that we have to be out in 2 months....(SCARY) We have no idea where we are going to be therefor I have no idea where to look for a house! :) I know that something great is right around the corner for Jared and that God will direct us in the path that he wants us to take! (with that being said, I'm still stressed out because I don't know what path that is!!! LOL)
So come on give me some kind of hint......
